"For what it’s worth, I don’t like Bitch Lab, I don’t read her, I don’t think she’s very bright, and I think the main thing she piggybacked on recently was a comment thread to a post she didn’t author. Nice appropriation, that. ... Don’t like Bitch Lab? Join the club, and don’t read her. Read the women she rips off instead. They’re better." - Ilyka Damen

Subject: Introducing ourselves
Can we please invite any of you who have the inclination to introduce yourselves and/or explain your angle on sexual relationship, domestic issues, or evolutionary or religious foundations in sexual conflict, repression of women in world cultures etc. The list is very reticent ad while we are happy to post research announcements we would also like to see more discussion of the issues.
Can we invite you all a third time to try out the poll so we can see who is on the list.

> your max is 499 because i am anti-poll on the grounds that counting is an inefficient way of getting a sense of the whole. so it is 4 out of a possible 499.
Well not exactly … 4 out of 516. While I don’t want to become a mere statistic, we need to respect the number as much as the word. You are clearly prepared to communicate in words, so to deny numbers is riske. Just as music and language have a deeper common evolutionary basis so does number and word.
> I’m in the gillies camp… ‘cept I would dearly enjoy discussions about the deep need for loving relationships.
Yes Barry but the three of us are already old friends, hardly just a numerical equation!
